Pamela Short

Pamela Short was born on April 19, 1965 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of Danna Scott Porter and the late Kenneth Edward Short, Sr.

Pamela was a member of Living Word Fellowship in Savannah, Tennessee. She enjoyed listening to music and watching the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys football games. She loved her family and her pets and enjoyed spending time with them.

Pamela Short departed this life on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Florence, Alabama at the age of 58 years, 9 months, and 15 days.

She is survived by her sons, Joey Parrott, Jr. and Jason Brown, Jr.; daughter, Jessica Stark; mother, Danna Scott Porter; brothers, Peter Porter, Greg Short, and Ken Short; grandchildren, Aiden Parrott, Kyrie Parrott, Ansley Parrott, Alexia Vaughn, and Bryson Stark; and a host of extended family members and friends.

In addition to her father, Pamela was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marvin and Hester Lee Scott and paternal grandparents, Walker and Carrie Lee Short.
