Pastor Bill McCall

PASTOR BILL MCCALL



was born in Dickson, Tennessee on August 13, 1947 the son of the late Joe Henry and Mary Leslie Trice McCall.



On May 8, 1970 he was united in marriage to Carol Marie Ward, who survives.



Mr. McCall was a veteran of the National Guard. He retired after 30 years from the Adamsville Police Department where he served as Adamsville Police Chief. Mr. McCall was Pastor of New Hope Fellowship Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He was a resident of Hardin County for 25 years, McNairy County for 20 years and Chester County for 20 years. Mr. McCall was a member of Fraternal Order of Police in McNairy County, Savannah Bowling Church League, Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center where he was a former board member and he helped start the Adamsville High School Bible Curriculum. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, listening to gospel music, singing and playing guitar, farming , law enforcement and gospel ministry. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren and Mr. McCall loved all types of animals, he had a special friend Roscoe, their family pet.



Mr. McCall departed this life on January 3, 2013 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 21 days.



In addition to his wife Carol of Crump, Tennessee he is survived by his children, Angie Hutton and her husband Lannie of Adamsville, Tennessee and Robin Hutson and her husband Jeff of Clinton, Kentucky



two grandchildren, Colby Hutton and Tyler Hutton



two sisters, Delores Woods of Parsons, Tennessee and Judy Williams and her husband Jimmy of Lewisburg, Tennessee



Mr. McCall is also survived by a very special sister in law, Caron Sharp of Lewisburg, Tennessee



In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Whaley and one brother, Bobby Sharp.
