Patricia Ann Linam Hill of Clifton, TN was born June 20, 1963 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Jack and Jimmie Joe Culp Linam.
She was a 1981 graduate of Frank Hughes High School and West Tennessee Business College.
Patricia was baptized at Fairfield Baptist Church in Nashville, TN and was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Clifton, TN. She was an independent support coodinator and had worked at CCA, TAP, and Buffalo River Services.
Patricia was a lady of great character, one whose judgment, humor and friendly spirit brought out the finest in those around her. The influence of her life upon others is a flame that will burn brightly forever. She left so much good with every soul she touched on this earth.
She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Martha Louise Culp and Mattie Churchwell; uncles, Donnie and Bobby Lee Culp; aunts, Mary Sue Porter, Hattie Churchwell, Martha Richardson, and Carolyn Faye Churchwell.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Timothy Hill; a son, Lynn Witherspoon and a grandson, Kenyon Tre Witherspoon, all of Clifton, TN; her parents, Jack and Jimmie Joe Culp Linam of Nashville, TN; brothers, Robert Lee Culp and wife, Barbara and Charles M. Linam all of Clifton, TN and William Linam of Nashville, TN; sisters, Tinnie Laws and husband, Lamar of Smyrna, TN, Diane Sparks and husband, Woody of Savannah, TN, and Martha Skelton of Nashville, TN; uncles, James Churchwell and wife, Nancy and William Churchwell all of Clifton, TN; aunts, Clarice Churchwell of Nashville, TN and Louise Churchwell of Atlanta, GA; mother-in-law, Louise Hill and brother-in-law, Steve Hill both of Booneville, MS; sister-in-law, Judy Holley of Marietta, MS; her childhood friend, Maria Bailey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Clifton, Tennessee, with Jan Mullins and Shon Beasley officiating. Her body will be placed in the church one hour before the services. Pallbearers will be son, Lynn Witherspoon, nephew, Ryan Bumphus, friend, Justin, Hendircks, nephew, Zanta Frierson, cousin, Antwan Churchwell, nephew, Korba Frierson and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. At her request, her body will be cremated following the services.
