Patricia Ann Horton

Patricia Ann Walker Horton of Cypress Inn, TN was born September 13, 1961 in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of Opal Lorine Wright of Florence, AL who survives and the late Elmer Oneal Walker. She was united in marriage to Dewey Thomas Horton on April 19, 1991. Mrs. Horton was a disabled factory worker and attended Lindsey's Chapel Church in Florence, Alabama. Mrs. Horton was pronounced dead-on-arrival on Monday, October 5, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 48 Years, 22 Days.Other than her mother, she is survived by her husband, Dewey Thomas Horton of Cypress Inn, TN; two brothers, Randy G. Walker of Florence, AL, Terry D. Walker of Waterloo, AL; five sisters, Shirley M. Price, Linda F. Creasy, Vickie L. Price, Alma R. Weems, Peggy S. Keeon all of Florence, AL; nieces and nephews.In addition to her father, Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth O. Walker, Johnny L. Walker. Services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Lindsey's Chapel Church, Florence, Alabama, with Gene Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin at 6 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Lindsey's Chapel Church.
