Patty Scott
was born in Jackson, Tennessee on November 28, 1955, the daughter of the late Eugene Brown Holland and Anna Lea Goodrum Weir.
On June 15, 1985, Patty was united in marriage to Rickey Gene Scott, who survives.
She was the owner and operator of Bargain Tunnel, which was a furniture and gift shop in Savannah for 13 years. Patty was a former Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and Gideon Auxiliary member. She was also a member of Savannah Church of Nazarene. Patty's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved her animals, church family and taking trips to the beach.
Patty departed this life on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 27 days.
In addition to her husband of 40 years, Rickey of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her children, Amanda Whitlock (Zach) of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Alex Scott (Nicole) of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ava Whitlock, Krosley Scott, Braxley Scott, Peyton Wint, and Paisley Wint; sisters, Barbara Stroud (Sammy) of Jackson, Tennessee, Charlotte Stewart (Milo) of Crump, Tennessee, Cindy Downs of Athens, Alabama, and Regina Riggins (Sambo) of Newport, Tennessee; brothers, Tim Farrell (Joyce) of Jackson, Michigan and David Farrell of Athens, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
Patty was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Brown Holland; mother, Anna Lea Goodrum Weir; stepmother, Becky Holland; and brother, William "Billy" Holland.
