Mrs. Patricia Lorraine Staggs Smith departed this life on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 9 Months, 2 Days. She was born July 9, 1942 in Collinwood, TN the daughter of the late Cecil Evans and Lizzie Ellen McDonald Staggs addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by; a grandchild, Kent Gordon Smith; son in laws; Arion L. Hunt and Timothy Allen Brewer.
She was united in marriage to Bobby Gene Smith on May 20, 1960. Mr. Smith preceded her in death on December 27, 1969 .
Mrs. Smith was a retired factory worker .
She is survived by daughters, Sherry Jean Hunt ; Cynthia Joy Brewer; Sheila Denise Smith ; Lori Bernadette Hill and husband Ray all of Waynesboro, TN; son, Scotty Thomas Smith and wife Tanya of Lawrenceburg, TN; brother, Jeff Staggs of Collinwood, TN; sisters, Dorothy Potete of Savannah, TN, Willene Orton of Lawrenceburg, TN, Joan Skelton , Charlene Overton; Sharon Borden , and Carol Ricketts all of Waynesboro, TN;
grandchildren; Shonda Holt; Colton Hunt; Karla Boucher; Cecilia Dockins; Jennifer Thompson; Jacob Thompson; Kara Brewer; Ronny; Johnny and Bobby Martin; Amber Hill; Thomas Hill; Karlee Smith and Caleigh Smith; great grandchildren; Dillion Boucher; Gage Mathis; Casen Holt; Jayden Green; Korbin Hill; Lanoric Hill; Rowan Dockins; Bella and Lyla Thompson; Hope; Neal; Kenneth; Steven; Bailen; Ethan and Braxton Martin
Services will be held on Sunday; April 14, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Arion Hunt Cemetery,Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
