Patsy Ruth Johnson Ray

Patsy Ruth Johnson Ray of Mt. Juliet, TN was born February 16, 1930 in Flint, MI, the daughter of the late John Carl and Nora E. Berry Johnson. She was united in marriage to Joe Dixon Ray on September 9, 1950 and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2015. Mrs. Ray was a homemaker and in 1942 became a member of the Methodist Church, holding membership in Collinwood, TN and Belleville, MI.

She departed this life on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Gardens at Providence in Mount Juliet, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 5 Months, 28 Days.

Mrs. Ray is survived by daughters, Vicki Ray Richard and husband, Christopher of Mount Juliet, TN and Alisa Ann Ray of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Joe Johnson Richard and Caitlin Anne Richard and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by a sister, Mauvelene Estelle Johnson Shepard.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Edward Murrey officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
