Pattie J. Vandiver departed this life on July 23, 2009 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 2 Months, 25 Days.
Mrs. Vandiver was born April 28, 1934 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Levi Ubert and Minnie Viola Ledford Lowrance. She was united in marriage to Windle H. Vandiver on October 14, 1950 who preceded her in death on October 16, 2003. A member of Abundant Faith Fellowship Full Gospel Church she loved her grandchildren, loved to talk and to pick at you. Lived all her life in McNairy and Hardeman Counties.
She is survived by five daughters, Velma Beatrice Floyd of Bolivar, TN, Beverly Ann Mackey of Peoria, IL, Rachel Sparks of Selmer, TN, Charlotte Bryant of Mercer, TN, and Debra Monroe of Meadville, MS; three sons, Roger Vandiver of Hornsby, TN, Kirby Vandiver of Selmer, TN, and Joseph (Kandy) Vandiver of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Anna Lou Vandiver of Jackson, TN; four brothers, R. C. Lowrance of Jackson, TN, Rufus Lowrance of Ripley, TN, Rayburn Lowrance of Covington, TN, and Lee Lowrance of ; 21 Grandchildren, 65 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Vandiver was preceded in death by two daughters, Patsy Lucille Vandiver, and Sandra K. Ortiz, ; two sons, Elton Vandiver, and Harvey Vandiver; two sisters, Dorothy Vandiver, and Lucille Burns; three brothers, Odell Lowrance, Preston Lowrance, and Edward Lowrance; and two grandchildren Frankie Sparks and Raqual Ortiz.
