Mrs. Patty Mannon-McKinney, age 54 of Selmer, departed this life Monday night, April 9, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Bolivar at Brints Hospital on September 28, 1957 to Betty Clifft Mannon of Bolivar, who survives, and the late Ed Mannon. A 1975 graduate of Bolivar Central High School, she had lived in Selmer for the past 20 years where she attended Fellowship Baptist Church. She worked as a homemaker and loved church and her friends. Her favorite pastimes included dancing, reading, gardening, going to the river and cooking.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Courtney McKinney of Selmer; a son, Cris McKinney of Bolivar; a sister, Lindy Mannon Carson and husband Rob of Columbus, Mississippi; and an aunt, Martha Jewell Anderson of Bolivar.
Along with her father, she is preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Mannon, and a brother, Sammy Mannon.
