Patty Loutense Whitman

Patty Loutense Whitman was born April 18, 1927 in Chester County, TN the daughter of the late James Robert and Rose Arlie Hodge Cox. She worked for Brown Shoe Company for 19 years, then in McNairy County Circuit Court Clerk's office, General Electric, and the Selmer Radio Station.

Miss Whitman departed this life on November 1, 2016 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 6 Months, 14 Days.

She is survived by a son, Edwin Keith Whitman of Henderson, TN; two grandchildren, Brittany Crouse and Tiffany Lopez; three great grandchildren: Kenlee, A. J. and Khloe; two brothers, Chester Cox of Chester County, TN and Claudie Cox of Stantonville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Miss Whitman was preceded in death by her siblings: Udell Hodge, Erwin Cox, Susie Greer, Tressie Fortune, Gerald Cox, Shelby Cox and Marlyn Priest.
