Paul Ford was born in Canton, Illinois on August 28, 1940, the son of late Carl and Pauline Heffron Ford.
On August 21, 1985, he was united in marriage to Connie Yvonne Clemens, who survives.
Paul was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Red Brand Credit Union in Peoria, Illinois. He was previously employed as a steel worker and wire maker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and playing cards with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Connie Ford of Counce, Tennessee; 6 children, Megan Weichelt and her husband Steve of Naples, Florida, Kerry Kelley and her husband Craig of Omaha, Nebraska, Nick Ford and his wife Kelie of Lebanon, Tennessee, Errin Moss and her husband Doug of Miramar Beach, Florida, Amy Ford Hutt and her husband Chris of East Peoria, Illinois and Kate Davenport and her husband Dave of Glenview, Illinois; 1 brother, Glenn Ford of Peoria, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and his beloved pet, Harry.
