Paul Kenneth Johns was born on July 15, 1933 in Jackson, Tennessee, the son of the late James Bevly and Alice McLemore Johns.
Mr. Johns honorably served his country in the United States Navy for 20 years until his retirement and was a member of the American Legion. After Paul retired from the Navy, he worked for several years on tug boats in Florida and as a short order cook. He lived all of his senior years in Adamsville and Milledgeville, enjoying gardening, birdwatching, and visiting with his daughter, Barbara and nieces, Linda and Lori, and his nephews from Knoxville, Billie and J. Carl.
Paul Kenneth Johns departed this life on September 27, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 2 months, and 12 days.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Caceres of Federal Way, Washington; sister, Doris Winkles of Knoxville, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Michael Caceres of Bothell, Washington and Mandy Caceres of Arlington, Virginia.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his sons, James Bevly Johns and Kenneth Dale Johns and brothers, William Johns, David Johns, and Thomas Johns.
A memorial service will be held in February of 2022 at Lebanon Cemetery in West Tennessee.
