Paul Morgan

Paul Morgan of Bethel Springs, TN departed this life on March 22, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 4 Months, 26 Days. He was born October 24, 1946 in Dyer County, TN the son of the late Emmett Cletus and Georgia Raye Richardson Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a diesel mechanic having last worked for East-West Motor Freight in Selmer. He loved being outdoors whether it be gardening, squirrel hunting, or fishing in the Tennessee River. He enjoyed cooking fish, hushpuppies, and bisquits and would regularly gets comments from those eating on how good it was. He is survived by his wife Sue Ellen (Standefer) Morgan of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Theresa Matlock and husband Phillip of Milledgeville, TN; a son, Toby Morgan and companion Tammie Snow of Savannah, TN; a granddaughter, Emma Matlock; two sisters, Faye Weaver and husband Burlie of Bethel Springs, TN, Peggy Scott of Gates, TN; a sister-in-law, Loretta Benik and husband Bruce of Birmingham, AL; his two special dogs, Mandy and Butch, who miss him very much. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, special fishing buddies, neighbors, and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by four brothers, Joy Morgan, Joe Morgan, Jerry Morgan, and Forest Morgan.
