Paul Richard Noles of Henderson

PAUL NOLES

Henderson, TN: Paul Richard Noles, age 86 passed away February 11, 2023, at Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born January 12, 1937, in Moore County, TN the son of the late Roscoe Frankin and Emily Betty Eslick Noles. He graduated from Lynchburg High School (Moore County) in 1956 and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1961 with a degree in Industrial Arts and Mathematics. He married Billie Shelley in 1960. They made their home at Winchester, TN and he worked in Tullahoma for Arnold Engineering Development Center for twenty-nine years, testing aircraft, missels and rockets in aerospace development. He retired in 1994. He had preached at local congregations in the Winchester area.

They moved to Henderson in 2001 where they were very active in the Henderson Church of Christ and enjoyed watching Freed-Hardeman basketball. He also did fill in preaching at some area congregations.

Mr. Noles is survived by his wife, Billie Shelley Noles of Henderson; two sons, Paul Stephen Noles and wife Amy of Huntingdon and Joe Noles and wife Ramay of Henderson and five grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Kanaak of Crystal Lake, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mildred Morris and two brothers, Jasper Noles and Newton Noles.

Graveside services will be Wednesday February 15, 2023, at 2:45 PM at Estes Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
