Paul D. Sherrill

Paul Dewey Sherrill of Collinwood, TN was born September 22, 1944 in Collinwood, TN, the son of the late Clay and Effie Foster Sherrill. He was united in marriage to the former Robnetta Huskey on July 3, 1971. Mr. Sherrill was a construction worker and departed this life on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama at the age of 75 Years, 11 Months, 5 Days. He is survived by his wife, Robnetta Huskey Sherrill and a son, Brent Paul Sherrill both of Collinwood, TN; brothers, John William Sherrill and Reacel Sherrill both of Waynesboro, TN and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sherrill was preceded in death by brothers, Dee, Lonzo, Elzo, Edward and Clay Sherrill, Jr. Services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Jerry L. Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will be Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 10 am to service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jared Sherrill, Derrek Sherrill, Chris Sherrill, Nick Sherrill, Greg Sherrill and Scott Devers with honorary pallbearers being Daekon Sherrill, Jeff Sherrill and Doug Sherrill.
