Paul David Sweat

Paul David Sweat was born March 31, 1947 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late James Elmer and Nettie Jewel Clifton Sweat.

He was united in marriage to Johnnie Mae Hipps in December of 2001. Mrs. Sweat preceded him in death on April 27, 2007.

Paul worked for Brown Shoe Company in the cutting department for over 25 years. He was one of ten children and always loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Meeks Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

Mr. Sweat departed this life on March 25, 2023 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 11 Months, 25 Days. He is survived by a sister, Lura Evelyn Jones and husband Bobby of Adamsville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Sweat was preceded in death by five sisters, Ottie Martin, Ella Mae Martin, Betty Sue Rickman, Tinnie Leona Sweat, Hattie Elizabeth Sweat; three brothers, James Elmer Sweat Jr., J.W. Sweat, and an infant brother.
