Paula Michelle Mercer

Paula Michelle Mercer was born June 24, 1973 in Visalia, California the daughter of Richard Mercer, Sr. and Linda Melton Knighton.Paula attended Northeast Mississippi Community College for 2 years, where she studied Physical Therapy. She was a wonderful mother who loved her family very much. She was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed making doll clothes which she sold on the internet. Paula also performed a valuable service by sitting with the elderly and those who were ill. She was a member of the Chewalla Baptist Church. Paula departed this life on May 6, 2010 in Guys, Tennessee at the age of 36 Years, 10 Months, 12 Days. She is survived by her husband Keith Ragan of Guys, TN; a son, Preston James Mercer of Guys, TN; a daughter, Kerrigan Elizabeth Ragan of Guys, TN; her father, Richard Mercer, Sr. of Guys, TN; her mother, Linda Melton Knighton and husband Jackie of Guys, TN; a brother, Richard Mercer Jr. of Guys, TN; a half-brother,Daniel Lee Mercer of Guys, TN; paternal grandmother Doris Barnes Sikes of Guys, TN; maternal grandmother Peggy Locke of Guys, TN; mother-in-law Faye Baldwin and husband Perry of Chewalla, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
