Paulette Emison departed this life on Friday, November 13, 2015, at the age of 70 years, 11 months, 19 days. She was born in Huntingdon, Tennessee on November 25, 1944, the daughter of the late Hearvie Josiah and Amanda Magdlene Meggs Ellis. On August 19, 1961, she was united in marriage to Cecil Vern Emison, who survives.
Paulette had worked as a waitress at the Cracker Barrel in Smyrna, Tennessee. She was the caregiver of the family, and loved hummingbirds and growing roses.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Cecil Vern Emison, Sr. of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter, Miki D. Raines of Smyrna, Tennessee; son, Cecil Vern Emison, Jr. of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kristina Lee Baker, Scott Emison, Lucas Raines, and Ethan Raines; a great-grandchild, Alana Emison; brothers, Gene Ellis of Cape Canaveral, Florida, Gary Ellis of Pulaski, Tennessee, and Terry Ellis of Huntingdon, Tennessee.
