was born September 22, 1921 in McComb, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Reuben Loyd and Nonie McKee Bellue. She was united in marriage to William Taylor Matney on April 25, 1943 and he preceded her in death on May 6, 2003.
Mrs. Matney was a retired factory worker at Genesco and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
Mrs. Matney departed this life on Friday, March 13, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 5 Months, 19 Days.
She is survived by a son, Billy Sadler of Waynesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Bill Sadler, Danny Sadler, Polly Newman; ten great-grandchildren ; sister, Margie Margot of Hammond, LA; nephews; Howard Margot, Jr. and Russell Edwin Bellue, Jr.; niece; Rosemary Orman
