Pauline Warren Pope

September 20, 1914 — July 30, 2011

Pauline Pulley Warren Pope of Waynesboro, TN was born September 20, 1914 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Willie and Sally Warren Pulley. She was united in marriage to Roy Lee Warren in 1931 and he died on Dec. 2, 1972. She was united in marriage to Hiluard A. Pope in 1976 and he died on Feb. 26, 2002.



Mrs. Pope was employed at Genesco for over 24 years and was of the protestant faith. She enjoyed fishing and camping and spent a great deal of time on the river. She was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.



Mrs. Pope departed this life on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 96 Years, 10 Months, 10 Days.



She is survived by daughters, Linda Nutt and Sue Morris both of Waynesboro, TN; stepdaughter, Hilda Jo Reed of Pulaski, TN; stepson, James (Jim) Pope of Waynesboro, TN; 7 grandchildren; several great-grand and great-great-grandchildren; several step-grandhildren and step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents and her husbands, Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by a daughter, Clara Nell Davis; sons, Wilburn and Alton Lee Warren; a grandchild, Annette Nutt Haggard; brothers, Doc, Cliff, Lark, and Ton Pulley; and sisters, Opal Pope, Gladys Sanders, and Lois Pope.



Services will be Monday, August 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Ronnie Pope officiating. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, directing. Pallbearers will be Jerry Davis, Rick Warren, Tony Morris, Richard Warren, David Mathis, and Garrett Haggard.
