PEARL PLAXICO BLANTON
was born in Rienzie, Mississippi on June 30, 1920 the daughter of the late Clifford and Pink Dees Plaxico.
On September 25, 1948 she was united in marriage to Cletious Blanton, who preceded his wife in death on July 8, 1989.
Mrs. Blanton worked from Weavers Pant Factory in Corinth, Mississippi and later retired after 10 years from Garan Manufacturing. Mrs. Blanton was of the Baptist belief. She loved her flowers and enjoyed fishing.
Mrs. Blanton departed this life on December 16, 2016 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 96 years, 5 months and 16 days.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Blanton and his wife JoAnn, Billy Wayne Blanton and Wanda Pearl Wilkins and her husband Joe, all of Adamsville, Tennessee, Carter Harris Blanton and his wife Cindy of Savannah, Tennessee and Linda Ridgell of Crump, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Robert and Clifford Plaxico; two sisters, Edna Dunn and Dimple Phelps; and two grandchildren, Chasity Brown and Jody Ridgell.
