PEARL RICH
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 18, 1918 the daughter of the late Clayton Young and Elzie Elizabeth Neil Young Wilson.
On October 25, 1940 she was united in marriage to Chester Carter Rich, who preceded his wife in death on October 30, 2005.
Mrs. Rich retired from Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Rich loved quilting, cooking and embroidering. She loved her family and friends and loved to talk.
Mrs. Rich departed this life on January 20, 2007 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 2 days.
She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Godwin of Savannah, Tennessee.
One son, Raymond Rich of Millington, Tennessee.
8 grandchildren, Angela Carr, Kristi Armstrong, Craig Rich, Randal Rich, Penny McAdams, Patrick Godwin, Tommy Puckett and Jeri Lynn Hale.
17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild
Mrs. Rich was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Rich, 2 sisters, Mable Terry and Frankie Lanford and 2 brothers, Streety Young and Gene Wilson.
