PEGGY MARIE BROWN
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 4, 1947 the daughter of the late Ashely Lee Smith and Jewel Helen Howard Smith.
On November 13, 1964 she was united in marriage to Edward Brown, who survives.
Peggy worked for 18 years for Brown Shoe Company. She loved to work in her garden each year and also loved working in her flowers. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She departed this life on August 2, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 65 years, 2 months and 29 days.
In addition to her husband Edward of Savannah, Tennessee, Peggy is survived by 3 daughters, Connie Smith and her husband Lamar of Baldwyn, Mississippi, Janet Brown of Savannah, Tennessee and Cindy Miller and her husband J. R. of Savannah, Tennessee
3 grandchildren, Melissa Killingsworth and her husband Ben of Selmer, Tennessee, Steven Melson of Savannah, Tennessee and Clint Miller of Savannah, Tennessee
2 step grandchildren, Amanda Smith of Corinth, Mississippi and Barry Smith and his wife Alicia of Batesville, Mississippi
2 great grandchildren, Kylee Killingsworth and Eben Killingsworth, both of Selmer, Tennessee
2 step great grandchildren, Alison Smith and Bently Smith, both of Corinth, Mississippi
one sister, Caludia Gravett and her husband Jimmy of Savannah, Tennessee
In addition to her parents, Peggy was also preceded in death by one son, 3 sisters, Kathleen Melson, Bernice Melson and Ivgene Moore and 3 brothers, Eugene (Bull) Smith, Jounior Smith and Willie Dee Smith.
