Peggy Joyce Foster, of Middleton, beloved homemaker and former employee at Security Signals in Memphis and Sears Corporation, passed away on April 27, 2024, in Ripley, Mississippi. She was born on January 4, 1932, in Middleton, Tennessee.
Peggy was a devoted member of County Line Baptist Church and cherished her church family dearly. She will be remembered for her warm personality and immense love for her family and grandbabies.
Throughout her life, Peggy found joy in gardening among her flowers and had a passion for watching game shows like Wheel of Fortune and Price is Right. In her younger days, she loved traveling and listening to music. She resided mostly in this area, but spent some time in Cordova, TN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Marvin McClintock and Lucille Dillon McClintock, as well as her husband Joseph Kirby Foster, Sr. Peggy is survived by her sons, Barry Lynn Foster (Rebecca) of Clarksville and Ronnie Wayne Foster of Chalybeate. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Adam, Luke, and Anna Foster; Tammy Clark; Tena Witherspoon; Shena Foster; as well as 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kirby Foster, Jr., a daughter, Pam Pipkin, a granddaughter, Dana Arnold, a grandson, Ethan Ray, a sister, Patsy Mosley and a great granddaughter, Lacey Foster.
Peggy Joyce Foster will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace knowing she was greatly loved and cherished by many.
