A life beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. The family of Peggy Jean Sanders sadly announces her passing on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the age of 83 in Henderson, Tennessee.

Peggy was born on June 3, 1942, in Jackson, Tennessee, to Mary Rachel Holland and Jessie Monroe Sowell.

She is survived by her children, Sarah and Bobby Franklin, Richard Brock, and Phillip Brock; her grandchildren, Charles Thomas, Amber Franklin, and Ashley Pritchard; as well as many beloved great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Rachel Holland and Jessie Monroe Sowell; her siblings, Sarah Sowell and Gary Sowell; and her son, Larry Brock.

A graveside service will be 11:00 AM at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, on June 2, 2026.

Peggy leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, compassion, and love. While our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and the hope that we will see her again.
