Florice "Peggy" Tuberville peacefully passed away March 30th, 2017 in Florence Alabama. Peggy was born July 8th, 1943 in Houston Mississippi to Henry "Shorty" Black and Jeanette (Mahan) Black. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Mark Tuberville, her brother Bobby Black and her husband and soul mate, Melvin Tuberville. Peggy was a devoted mother of four but she didn't stop there, she was known to step in and care for her grandchildren as well. Peggy was known as "Granny" to most everyone that ever met her, and a Granny she was, all the babies adored her. She would laugh, sing, make up silly songs, and tell the most preposterous stories that even her adult grandchildren would believe to be true. Peggy is survived by her seven siblings, Donnie Black, Larry Black, Cimp Grimes, Billy Black, Ronnie Black, Rick Black, Mary Walls; three of her four children, Donald Tuberville, Trena (Tuberville) Browning, Charles "Chuck" Tuberville; Twelve grandchildren, Vernon "Tee" Tuberville, Jackie Tuberville, Mark Acker, Lance Tuberville, Tosha (Tuberville) Jaggars, Frankie Tuberville, Trisha Blanton, Hunter Browning, Stetson Grimes, Jaydyn Browning, Wyatt Browning, Rylan Browning; and nine great grandchildren, Zoe Tuberville, Kloee Tuberville, Hayley Souter, Maddie Jaggars, Conway Browning, Addison Grimes, Tristan Acker, Toby Acker, and Rylee Wasson; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Peggy loved to dance and have a good time and she could be described as nothing short of a spitfire; always teasing people and saying anything and everything that was on her mind. Peggy will be very missed by all but her story has a happy ending as she will finally be able to dance in heaven with her sweetheart again after losing him ten long years ago.
