Peggy Sue Victory

Mrs. Peggy Sue Victory departed this life on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 3 months, and 25 days. She was born September 20, 1941, in Lutts, Tennessee, the daughter of the late James Thomas and Mable Lee Berry Rich. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Victory was preceded in death by daughters, Deborah Victory, Marilyn Darby; brother, Barry Rich; and step mother, Joyce Skelton.

She was united in marriage to James L. Victory on April 11, 1973. Mr. Victory preceded her in death on September 9, 1999.

Mrs. Victory was a supervisor with a garment manufacturing company. She attended Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee.

She is survived by sons, Ronald Lee (Dick) McFall of Collinwood, Tennessee, Gary Wayne Victory of Collinwood, Tennessee, and Russell Lee Victory of Warren, Michigan; daughters, June McFall of Athens, Alabama, and Cheryl Zwierzslewski of Houghton Lake, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Whitehead of Cypress Inn, Tennessee, Edna McFall of Lutts, Tennessee, Janie Reaves of Nashville, Tennessee, Joan Thompson of Collinwood, Tennessee, and Joy Sloan of Bell Buckle, Tennessee; brothers, Larry Thomas Rich of Iron City, Tennessee, James E. Rich of Collinwood, TN , Troy Rich of Iron City, TN. nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at 1 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery, Cypress, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 16, 6:00 – 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 17, 10:00 AM until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, Tennessee.
