Henderson, TN: William Perry Barton, age 85 passed away September 4, 2012 at McNairy Regional Hospital.
He was born in Chester County the son of the late John and Maggie Story Barton. November 15, 1946 he entered the U.S. Navy serving over 20 years. He returned to Henderson and worked at the Milan Arsenal. Mr. Barton also farmed in the Sweetlips community of Chester County a great majority of his life. He was married to Hilda Weidinger June 10, 1993 and they made their home in the Plainview community. He attended the Plainview Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Barton of Henderson; three step children, Martha Sharp of Collierville, John Young of Memphis and Mike Young of Tunica, MS and two sisters, Peggy Pinson of Tyler, TX and Frances Brooks of Henderson and two brothers, Bill Ralph Barton of TX and Bobby Bruce Barton of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Lee Barton.
