PHIL GILLHAM
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 3, 1916 the son of the late Isaac and Pearl Hale Gillham.
On November 29, 1945 he was united in marriage to Otha Wade, who preceded her husband in death on May 31, 2001. On October 22, 2007, he was united in marriage to Juanita Swafford Davis, who survives.
Mr. Gillham was a teacher and principal for the Hardin County Board of Education. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Gillham was a member of Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church, the National Education Association, Retired Teachers of Hardin County and the Phi Delta Kappa. He loved gardening, raising livestock and squirrel hunting.
Mr. Gillham departed this life on January 7, 2011 in Crump, Tennessee at the age of 94 years, 11 months and 4 days.
In addition to his wife, Juanita of Crump, Tennessee, he is survived by one stepson, Kim Davis of Corinth, Mississippi

2 step great grandchildren, Molly White and Kane White
one sister, Thelma Thiele of St. Louis, Missouri
one niece, Cathy Orr of St. Louis, Missouri and 2 nephews, David Thiele of St. Louis, Missouri and James A. Young of Illinois
In addition to his parents and his first wife, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Young and one brother, Aubrey Gillham.
