PHILIP JOHNSTON
was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on June 18, 1943 the son of the late Philip Chapman and Loretta May Chapman Johnston.
On March 23, 1985 he was united in marriage to Antoinette Kane, who survives.
Philip served his country proudly in the United States Navy, retiring after 27 years. He was a member of AARP, American Legion and Grace Church.
Philip was loved by many, especially his wife and he was one of a kind.
He departed this life on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 25 days.
In addition to his wife of 35 years, Antoinette of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Kristine Johnston and Geoffrey Johnston, both of Norfolk, Virginia, Anna Johnson of Wisconsin, Tina Richmond, Serene James, and Jay Johnston, all of Florida; eight grandchildren, and sisters, Susan Johnston and Carol Johnston, both of Florida, and Sandra Maditz of Washington, D.C.
