PHILLIP DONALD TYLER
was born in Crump, Tennessee on April 8, 1931 the son of the late Dennie Everett and Jewell Cora Phillips Tyler.
On February 24, 1957 he was united in marriage to Vera Elizabeth Schlatter, who survives.
Mr. Tyler retired after 31 years from Caterpillar Inc. in E. Peroia, Illinois. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Tyler was a member of Crump Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and fishing.
Mr. Tyler departed this life on March 10, 2011 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 2 days.
In addition to his wife, Vera of Crump, Tennessee, he is survived by 2 daughters, Annette Peugh of Morton, Illinois and Janine Chasco of Marquette Hts., Illinois and one son, Mark Tyler of St. Louis, Missouri
2 grandchildren, Tyler Chasco and Rachel Chasco
2 great grandchildren, Nathan Chasco and Kameryn Chasco
In addition to his parents, Mr. Tyler was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Rayburn and Raymond Tyler, one sister, Imogene Carter and one grandchild, Ryan Chasco
