Mrs. Jackson passed away Friday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of Daniel Jackson, who survives, she was the owner and operator of Country Pumpkin Antique Shop in Bolivar and worked at Master Slack for 20 years where she was a supervisor. Mrs. Jackson was born July 5, 1947 in Somerville to the late Robert Franklin Pittman and Mary Louise Ussery Pittman and lived all of her adult life in Bolivar. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and enjoyed working with antiques, hunting, fishing and cooking. Her family states she loved spending time with her family, friends and husband.
In addition to her husband, whom she married November 1, 1979, she is survived by a daughter, Connie (Gale) Higgs of Burns; a sister, Hilda Prescott of White Bluff; a brother, Frankie Pittman of Vildo; two grandchildren, Ashley Clifton of Alabama and Allie Higgs of Burns; two nephews, Nick Pittman of Brownsville and Hunter Pittman of Vildo; a very special great niece, Kynlie Reese Pittman of Brownsville; and a double first cousin, Sue Nell Reese of Somerville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Franklin Pittman, Jr.
