Pink Amos

Pink Amos, Jr was born May 16, 1926 in Henrietta, North Carolina .He was united in marriage to Pauline Roark in 1944. Mrs. Amos preceded him in death in 2000.He served in Europe during WWII with the US Army. After service he worked as a deck hand on a tugboat for the railroad. He lived in Hampton Va until 27 years ago before moving to Enville Tn.Mr. Amos departed this life on February 22, 2011 in Enville, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 9 Months, 6 Days.He is survived by four daughters, Barbara Vaughn of Enville, TN, Vykki Bedell of Henderson, TN, Shirley Amos of , Debra Gagen of Hampton, VA; a brother, Gene Amos of Great Falls , SC; a sister, Helen Buchannan of Columbia, SC; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on February 24, 2011 at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Enville, Tennessee with Rev. Bill Evans officiating.
