She was born and reared at Bemis, the daughter of the late James Harvey and Ethel Clara Cook McNatt. She attended schools at J.B. Young and Jackson Beauty Academy. She married Lewis Harold Nobles, Sr. April 24, 1948. Mr. Nobles worked for TVA until they moved to Garland Bottom Road in 1956 where they farmed. She was a homemaker and had also operated a beauty shop at her home. Mr. Nobles died in 2005.She is survived by a daughter, Ann Bowker and her husband David of Henderson and a son, Harold Nobles and wife Cindy of Henderson; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; a sister, Flora Jackson of Hohenwald.She was preceded in death by six brothers, Raymond, Charlie, Robert, Marvin, Mac and Tom McNatt and also 4 sisters, Beulah Bomar, Frances Crawford, Lee Stroup and Viola McNatt.
