Rachel Geneva Craig

Rachel Geneva Wright Craig of Cypress Inn, TN was born August 31, 1928 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late Henry and Ella Montgomery Wright. On December 24, 1946, she married Joe Arnold Craig and he preceded her in death, November 30, 2005.

Mrs. Craig was a retired factory worker and homemaker and a member of Hydes Chapel Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, Dalton Craig and wife, Joyce of Cypress Inn, TN; grandchildren, Russell Craig, Clay Craig, Misty Craig, Cassi South, Jordan Craig and Kati Craig and 10 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Craig was preceded in death by
a son, Dennis Craig and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be Monday, November 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Andy Kizer officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Russell Craig, Clay Craig, Jordan Craig, Lidge Craig, David West and Jackie West.

Visitation will be Monday, November 30, 2015 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
