Rachel Lorene Franks

Rachel Lorene Brewer Franks of Waynesboro, TN was born January 5, 1947 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late John C. and Nona Jackson Brewer. She was united in marriage to Larry Steve Franks on April 25, 1968.



Mrs. Franks was a homemaker and a member of the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



Mrs. Franks departed this life on Friday, April 8, 2011 at her home at the age of 64 Years, 3 Months, 3 Days.



She is survived by her husband, Larry Steve Franks of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Steven Ray Franks of Waynesboro, TN; two daughters, Chrystal Joy Nance of Waynesboro, TN, Peggy Renee Baker of Hohenwald, TN; two grandchildren, Nicholas Hugh Beckham, Allison Renee Henderson; two brothers, James Edward Brewer of Waynesboro, TN, William Paul Brewer of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Pamela Marie Jaske of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents, Mrs Franks was preceded in death by a brother, Troy C. Brewer.



Services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton, Chad Balentine, and Kerry Franks officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceburg (Wayne County), Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Visitation will be Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN. Her body will be placed in the church at 11 am on Monday before the services.
