Ralph D. Chandler was born March 13, 1930 in Carroll County, Tennessee the son of the late Hulon Clyde and Irene Vancleave Chandler.
He was united in marriage to Faye Rich on September 4, 1948.
Mr. Chandler was a general contractor with Pettigrew & Chandler Contracting Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He was a duplicate bridge player, loved working in the yard, enjoyed traveling and loved recording family gatherings and celebrations.
Mr. Chandler departed this life on August 16, 2010 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 5 Months, 3 Days. He is survived by his wife Faye Chandler of Adamsville, TN; three daughters, Donna Marshall Whitten and husband Garland of Adamsville, TN, Sande Jackson Arnold of Adamsville, TN, Jane Fielder and husband Craig of Savannah, TN; a son, James Chandler and wife Paula of Adamsville, TN; a sister, Dorothy Nell Chandler Carl and husband Herman of Florissant, MO; two sister-in-laws, Mildred Chandler of Camden, TN, and Janice Chandler of Camden, TN; seven grandchildren, Kim Marshall, Amy Marshall, Misty (Fielder) Falls and husband Burt, Slade Jackson and wife Teri, Cade Fielder and wife Shaunna, Trace Arnold, Jay Chandler; three great grandchildren, Dillon Fielder, Mackenzie Jackson, Taylor Fielder.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Chandler was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Donald Chandler, Jr.; a sister, Betty Jean Chandler; two brothers, Gerald Chandler, Neal Chandler.
