Ralph Dyer

Ralph Dyer departed this life on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 1 day.He was born, Ralph Eugene Dyer in Parrish, Alabama on December 21, 1926, the son of the late Lester Dyer. On September 6, 2011, he was united to Alice Faye Ivey, who survives. Mr. Dyer had served honorably in both the United States Army and Navy. He had worked in maintenance at LTV Steel in Chicago, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, reading and yard sales.In addition to his wife, Alice Faye Dyer of Savannah, Tennessee; he is survived by his brothers, James Dyer of Mississippi and Wendell Dyer of Boldo, Alabama; step sons, Steve Henke and wife Roberta of Medaryville, Indiana and Dave Henke of Crown Pointe, Indiana; grandchildren, Jonathan Henke, Bryan Henke, Ridge Henke, and Melinda Henke; 5 great grandchildren.
