Henderson, TN: Ralph Paul Smith, age 66 passed away April 25, 2023, at his home.

He was born October 20, 1956 in Jackson, TN, the son of the late Glen and Mary Helen King Smith. He grew up in Milan.

He married Beth Ann VanCleave on February 4, 2005. They have lived in Henderson since 2018.

He was a truck driver and drove for local companies and last worked for Tony Hooper Sawmill. He retired in 2018.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Beth Ann VanCleave Smith of Henderson; a son, Jeffery Smith of Twenty-Nine Palms, CA and five brothers, David Smith of Jackson, Lynn Smith of Wildersville, Perry Smith of Jackson, Joel Smith of Gibson, and Eric Smith of Milan, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Abigail Williams in 2023 and a brother, Terry Smith.

Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Saturday, April 29^th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Randy Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM service time on Saturday.
