Paul Randall Brewer, known to all simply as Randall, passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on November 4, 1945, in Selmer, Tennessee, to the late William Charles Brewer and Mattie Ruth Tanner Brewer, Randall lived a full, adventure-filled life and resided in Adamsville, Tennessee.
A proud veteran, Randall served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart for his bravery. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to the open road. Randall began truck driving at an early age, logging countless miles and hours over the road before later driving for Aqua-Glass. He took immense pride in his trade, maintaining a spotless rig, crisp pressed jeans, and a tucked-in shirt. His immaculate truck was once even featured on a calendar by a professional photographer.
Always on the go, Randall had a deep passion for travel and the outdoors. He visited nearly every state in the country, with lifelong dreams of visiting the Grand Tetons and witnessing the Northern Lights. He loved camping in his RV, fishing, hunting, and riding four-wheelers. In his younger years, Randall owned a drag race car and spent many thrilling days at the track. At home, he was an avid fan of classic westerns—watching them so often he could quote them word-for-word.
Randall was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and the mother of his children, Martha Burkeen Brewer; his brothers, Billy Brewer and Tommy Brewer (along with Tommy's wife, Pili); and his brother-in-law, Steve Newell.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Vickie Newell Brewer, whom he married on April 27, 1991; his daughter, Stacey Tyler and her husband Todd of Savannah, TN; his son, David Brewer and his wife Marsha of Selmer, TN; and his cherished granddaughter, Hayley Beth Brewer of Selmer, TN. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Jeanne Carnes of Lakeland, TN; brother-in-law, Jerry Newell and his wife Diane of Selmer, TN; brother-in-law, Kenny Newell and his wife Charlene of Adamsville, TN; and sister-in-law, Marty Newell of Scotts Hill, TN, along with a, host of nieces and nephews that he loved, along with special friends who will miss his energetic spirit.
"Though his miles on earth are done, the memories of the journey will live on in our hearts forever."
