RANDY KESLER

 Henderson, TN: Randall Keith Kesler, age 58, passed away August 25, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Memphis, TN June 4, 1966, son of Amanda Charlene Moore and the late Donald Lloyd Kesler. He grew up in Covington, TN.

He attended Dyersburg State Community College and Jackson State Community College where he earned a bachelor’s degree. He continued his educational pursuits over the years eventually earning a master’s degree through Penn State University.

Randy was owner / operator of Kesler Transportation for several years; he was a freelance software developer and built robotics.

He also owned Henderson Energy and Nutrition and enjoyed stock trading.

He married Amy Tummins July 9, 1993, and they made their home in Henderson.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, martial arts, horror movies, and playing guitar.

Randy loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Kesler; mother, Amanda Moore of Brighton, TN; son, Rowdy Kesler of Henderson; three daughters, Lauren “Nikki” McKee (Josh) of Munford, TN, Demi Smith (Trevor) of Henderson, and Chelsie Matchette (Jared) of Indiana; three brothers, Sam Kesler (Jamie), Scott Kesler, and Johnathan Kesler (Kaitlyn) all of Henderson; three sisters, Christy Crihfield (Sonny) of Ripley, TN, Heather McClain (Brian) of Brighton, TN, and April Dorris of California; nine grandchildren, Sayuri, Ayumi, and Inori Smith, Lia, Ava, Ali, Zoe, and Joshua Luke McKee, and Finley Matchette.

He was preceded in death by his father and granddaughter, Emma Rose Kesler.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday August 30, 2024, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with Charlie Crouthers officiating. Burial will follow at their family cemetery at 4925 State Route 225 Henderson, TN.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at Crook Avenue from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM
