Ray Oneal Brown was born September 2, 1942 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Truman and Uriah Wagoner Brown.
He was united in marriage to Brenda Lee on May 25, 1962.

God's hand led this good man to a lead a life of purpose. He possessed a rare gift of true leadership. Ray touched the lives of thousands of students that passed thru McNairy County's school system by serving on the school board from 1978 to 2000.
