Raymond Cothren

Henderson, TN: Raymond Earl Cothren age 83 passed away September 17, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.He was born and reared in Chester County the son of the late Tom and Emma Ettna Cone Cothren. He attended Chester County Schools. He farmed as a young man and was a back hoe operator in construction. Mr. Cothren was married to Bertha Wilkins in 1991 and they made their home in the Sweetlips community. Mr. Cothren was a charter member of The House of prayer Church.He is survived by his wife, Bertha Mae Wilkins Cothren of Henderson; two sons, Jerry Cothren and wife Judy and Mike Cothren and wife Rita all of Henderson and two daughters, Loyce Ann Brown and husband Wayne of Bolivar and Lisa Marie Lawrence and husband John of Memphis; a step son, James David Graham of Malesus and a step daughter, Sheila Dianne Jones of Henderson; eight grandchildren and four step grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a sister, Ozell Culp of Henderson.He was preceded in death by an infant son Tommy Guy Cothren, a sister Gladys Terry and a brother James Cothren.
