Stantonville

Raymond Lendon Miller passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at his home in Stantonville, TN. He was born on October 3, 1942, in Tennessee, the beloved son of the late Leonard Miller and Ocie Barnes Miller.

Raymond was united in marriage to Mary Alice Miller on December 31, 1994, and together they shared many cherished years before her passing on March 12, 2022. Raymond was deeply dedicated to his family and took immense pride in their accomplishments and the love they shared.

Raymond spent his career as a skilled diesel mechanic working on pipelines and was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 369. He worked overseas in twenty countries throughout his lifetime. His passion for machinery and craftsmanship was evident in everything he did—he founded Krazy Kreations, his personal brand under which he built and customized lawn mowers, pullers, and a helicopter.

He was also known as a member of the Poor Boy Pulling Team and had a lifelong love for engines and mechanical design. In his younger years, Raymond enjoyed RC airplanes, model cars, motorcycles, and custom cars. Later in life, he took immense joy in collecting and restoring wooden cabin cruiser boats, refurbishing vintage lawn tractors and pullers, and especially working on his treasured 1939 Model B John Deere Tractor. One of his proudest accomplishments was designing and building his own home-built helicopter, which he completed—though he never took it for a flight.

He is survived by his children: Kristy Lynn Bennett and husband Phillip of Booneville, MS, Raymond Keith Miller of Adamsville, TN, and Belinda Ann Comer of Stantonville, TN; stepson, William Rob Sons and wife Angie; brothers, Glenn Miller and wife Joyce, Vernon Miller and wife Barbara; his grandchildren: Jessie Bennett and wife Alexanderia, Jordan Bennett and wife Rebekah, Jonah Bennett, Kathryn Bennett, Brett Miller, Zakk Miller, and Michael Lee Stevens; great-grandchild, Charlotte Bennett and Silas Bennett; step grandchildren: Rex Mason Sons, Stephanie Jean Sons, Faith Marie Parsons, and Samantha Jean Sons; step great-grandchild, Cecilia Ann Bruce; stepdaughter-in-law, Ann Hughes; nephew, Brandon Miller; niece, Veronica McCasland and husband Kevin; and other extended family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by stepson, Claude Hughes; great-grandson, Lincoln James Bennett; sister, Ruthie Miller; and nephew, Shane Miller.

Raymond's life was one of devotion to his family, his work, and his passions. He will be remembered for the many lives he touched through his kindness, craftsmanship, and love for building and creating. His legacy lives on in the engines he built, the family he raised, and the stories that will be told for generations to come.
