Reba Lynn Davis

Reba Lynn Davis was born January 22, 1935 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Vernon C. and Opal Gladys Brewer Davis. She was united in marriage to James Malcolm Davis, I on March 18, 1961.



Mrs. Davis was a retired factory worker at Lincoln Brass and was a member of the Church of Christ.



Mrs. Davis departed this life on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 8 Months, 4 Days.



She is survived by her husband, James Malcolm Davis, I of Waynesboro, TN; four sons, Roger Dixon and wife, Debra, Ricky Dixon and wife, Rhonda, Mark Dixon and wife, Lisa all of Soddy Daisy, TN, James Davis, II and wife, Anita of Clifton, TN; three daughters, Karen Keeton and husband, Roy of Florence, AL, Kimberly Smith of Waynesboro, TN, Tina Smith of Clifton, TN; grandchildren, Phillip, Lisa, Matthew, Michael, Jeremy, Reanna, Amber, Jessica, Jillian, Ezekial, Branston, Jeremiah, Ashton; great-grandchildren, Chris, Jacob, Abby, Lilly, Lauren, Tallon, Madison, Jada, Jaylee, Jagger, Brianna, Deanna, Chase; four brothers, Roy Davis, Bronson Davis, Tafford Davis, James Davis all of Waynesboro, TN; three sisters, Bernice Gerlach of Holly Grove, AR, Verna Sue Kelly of Columbia, TN, Becky Sharp of Nashville, TN; several nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Davis; two grandchildren, Derrick Mathis, Vanessa Skelton.



Services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Tracy Love and David Caron officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Matthew Dixon, Phillip Dixon, Jeremy Dixon, Ezekial Davis, Michael Scott Davis, Steve Billman.



Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Monday, September 28, 2009 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
