Reba Clarice Wallace

Reba Clarice Montgomery Wallace of Waynesboro, TN was born December 25, 1924 in Lauderdale County, Alabama, the daughter of the late William Oscar and Mary Ethel Williford Montgomery. She was united in marriage to Leander Wallace on January 2, 1940 and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1988.
Mrs. Wallace was a retired factory worker and a member of the Collinwood Freewill Baptist in Collinwood, Tennessee.
Mrs. Wallace departed this life on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 2 Months, 9 Days.
She is survived by three sons, William Lee (W.L.) Wallace and wife, Jean of Lawrenceburg, TN, Dalton Edward Wallace of Starkville, MS, Billy Ray Wallace and wife, Linda of Starkville, MS; two daughters, Virginia Creecy and husband, Jimmy of Collinwood, TN, Alene Hubbard and husband, Larry of Lawrenceburg, TN; 10 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; a sister, Christine Leadford and husband, L.C. of Florence, AL; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Arlene Creecy Hollis; a brother, G.W. Montgomery; two sisters, Irene Williams and Inez Douglas; a daughter-in-law, Linda Gail Wallace.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with John E. Banks and Josh Stults officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2011 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Roger Creecy, Brian Hubbard, Alan Cates, Terry Hollis, Jon Holt, and Larry Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will be James Lynch, Jr., Joe Wallace, and Buddy Caudill.
