Rebecca Dillard, 80, of Paris, TN, departed this life Friday, May 15, 2020 at Gallaway Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gallaway, TN.
A native of Fairview, TN, she was born September 26, 1939, daughter of the late James and Icey Adcock Stinson. She graduated Memphis Tech High School in 1957 and moved to Chicago, living there for 30 years prior to moving to Paris, TN in the late 1990's. She worked as a waitress for 20 years and enjoyed going shopping. While in high school, she was voted "Most Wittiest" in her class and was known for her great sense of humor.
Survivors include two sons, Alan Dillard of Schererville, IN and David Dillard of Highland, IN; two sisters, Nadine Avent and Karen Whitsett; three brothers, Johnny, Donnie and Eddie Chalk; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lisa Dillard; two brothers, Donald Stinson and Billy Chalk; and a sister, Loretta Baker.
While visiting or attending services for Mrs. Dillard, please consider the following guidelines:
* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
