REBECCA RIDDLE JONES
Augusta, GA: Rebecca Lee Riddle Jones age 91 passed away January 10, 2017 at the Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta. GA.
She was born September 3, 1925 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late John Washington and Addie Lee Wood Riddle. She graduated from Jackson High School and graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Union and later with a Bachelor’s Degree in Maine. She married Lois Ray Jones. They made their home at Jackson. She was an RN at Jackson General Hospital and also a Medical Insurance Adjuster. They made their home in Albany, GA and then in Augusta, GA. Mr. Jones passed away in 2007.
Mrs. Jones is survived by a daughter, Cecelia Williams and husband Bart of Albany, GA and a son, Randall Ray Jones of Nashville; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jean Pollard of Augusta, GA.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, I.G. Riddle and J.W. Riddle.
Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2017 at New Friendship Cemetery with Randall Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends at New Friendship Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM Saturday until graveside service at 3:00 PM Saturday.
