Rebecca Gail Mitchell Nguyen

Rebecca Gail Mitchell Nguyen, 59, was born in Savannah, Tennessee on September 4, 1965 and departed this life on August 9, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Wallace and Luley Sue Mitchell.

Rebecca worked in the past at Park Rest Nursing Home, Parris South Elementary School as a custodian and drove a school bus for many years for Hardin County School System. For the last several years, she enjoyed being a homemaker.

Rebecca loved camping, fishing, and cookouts. She enjoyed anything that brought her family together. She was always calling family and friends to check on them. She loved to sing and listen to music. But most importantly, she loved being with her children and grandchildren.

Rebecca is survived by her children, Bryan (Shanea) Nguyen and Brenton (Ashton) Nguyen, both of Savannah, Tennessee; granddaughter, Ava Ann Nguyen; grandsons, Braylon and Beckham Nguyen; brothers, Dennis (Amy) Mitchell, Ronald (Melissa) Mitchell, Jeff (Melissa) Mitchell, and Jonathan (Holly) Mitchell; boyfriend, Tommy Nixon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
