Rebecca Nicely of Selmer, TN departed this life on October 25, 2019 in her home at the age of 71 Years, 10 Months, 5 Days. She was born December 20, 1947 in Florence, AL the daughter of the late Byron Vaughn and Mary Inez Droke Vaughn.
Ms. Nicely had a Masters Degree in Administrative Education and was a retired Teacher of the McNairy County School System. She taught Art and Art History at McNairy Central High School for 33 years. She enjoyed caring for her cats and traveling.
She is survived by a son, Ben Deleeuw of Iuka, MS; two granddaughters, Chloe Deleeuw of Jackson, TN and Darby Hollins of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Nancy Stanley of Huntsville, AL and Mary Vaughn Nicely of Florence, AL; a host of extended family and friends.
Ms. Nicely requested that her cremated remains be scattered. There will be no public service.
